The only thing giving me hope in the past few days is how many people have shared stories with me (in person or on Facebook) about crying in public.
Some of the stories were about my friends being comforted by strangers while they cried. Other stories were about my friends comforting crying strangers. A few were about crying together with strangers.
I don’t know much right now. I’m still grieving like so many of us. But I do know tears are glue, so I’ll leave you with this Eugene O’Neill quote.
“Man is born broken. He lives by mending. The grace of God is glue.”
